"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon.  The hotel is in a beautiful old brick building.  The front desk person was very helpful and friendly.  She brought ice up to our room for our champagne, and also looked up info and directions on places we wanted to check out on our trip.  The room was really cute and Victorian-era looking.  I would recommend using the 10 minute drop off right in front of the hotel, before parking in their lot behind the hotel.  We loved the stay there, and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.  We hope to visit again."  Sarah - Sacramento, CA - September, 2014 - 4/5 Trip Advisor

"This great hotel is in the town center.  There are many great places to eat and drink just out the front door.  I walked to a local gold mine one morning, lots of history in town." Steven - August, 2014 - 9.2/10 Booking.com
"We planned a last minute trip and wanted to stay somewhere with history. Historic Cary House Hotel did not disappoint! The staff, especially Rachel, were exceptionally nice and helpful. They provided free parking and discount coupons for local restaurants. The hotel is right in downtown and their balcony provides a fantastically historical overlook of the Main Street. The rooms are sweetly decorated and manage to maintain vintage charm with enough modern amenities. Very pleased with our choice and would definitely stay here again!"
